our story.

Imadi was founded in 2024 by a group of passionate individuals in North West London who recognised a gap in culturally sensitive support for adults and their families facing mental health challenges. While many valuable resources existed both within and beyond the Kehilla, there remained a need for tailored, one-to-one, therapeutically led support that empowers individuals on their path to healing.

Imadi was born from a strong desire to complement existing services, address unmet needs through culturally sensitive care, and strengthen outcomes through thoughtful, coordinated case management.

At IMADI we understand how challenging it can be to hold it together whilst you feel like you are falling apart.

We are here for you.

We provide culturally sensitive, practical, and emotional support to adults experiencing significant mental health difficulties, as well as to their immediate families.

Our clinically led, holistic service supports members of the Orthodox Jewish community in North West London for the public benefit.

The name Imadi, meaning “with me” in Hebrew, reflects our core mission: to walk alongside our clients as they navigate what can often be an exceptionally challenging and isolating journey. We are committed to ensuring that no one should face their struggles alone. Our aim is to provide non-judgemental and compassionate support.

OUR MISSION AND VISION.

OUR VALUES.

We take a holistic approach to our work, recognising the unique challenges that mental health difficulties can present within the frum community. We understand that when one individual is struggling, the impact is often felt across the entire family system. For this reason, we offer support to adult family members and, where appropriate, signpost children to relevant services.

Confidentiality is central to everything we do. We handle all client information with the utmost care and responsibility, ensuring that it is only accessible to the staff directly involved in supporting the client.

Imadi is rooted in a deep understanding of the nuances of frum life. Our staff are culturally sensitive to the unique position of the Orthodox Jewish community within wider society. We recognise that periods such as Yom Tov and family Simchos can be especially challenging when managing mental health difficulties. Our support is shaped by this awareness, ensuring that care is both relevant and responsive to the individual’s lived experience.
